Summer

Here I was just reading on my blog and decided that I needed to do an update. Not that we do anything that is just worth sharing but seeing brynnie grow more and more each month is just so worth sharing.
She is talking more and more each day and tries to be as independent as much as she can. Her biggest accomplishment is going down the stairs outside all by herself. But she goes down them with one foot in front of the other and they are cement ones so I get nervous and want to help her out because I can only imagine her falling down on her face but she just pushes my hands aside and tells me "no."
She loves to read books,  and singing. She LOVES Barney and will try to do the actions that they do and will also want to sing along, it is so cute .Brynnie loves the movie Frozen, but she calls it "let go" she also recognizes the "Let it go " song and will sing along with just "let go"
She talks more and more and loves to play around with daddy. She is also in the stage of coloring she got a coloring book the other week and takes it everywhere and will color in it. I am surprised that she hasn't colored on anything like the walls and other books. Her top words right now is "thank you, here, no, all done, pretty"She gets to be in Nursery next month and I am nervous to take her but I think she will love being with all of the other kids.
Andy also got a new post in Transportation he has been really busy with the he 8 week training that is required then a test that he has to past in order to stay in the department. He is coming to the bitter end of that 8 weeks so more stress is involved with studying, but he has been doing really well and all the trainers have given him excellent feedback. He loves the post they transport inmates all over the state one day he would drive to Duschene and back then Logan the next day. He loves being on the road so he enjoys it. They do all the court transports and if inmates need surgery he takes them to that as well.
I have been staying busy as well with being a mom and also have been watching my friend's little one couple days a week. On top of that I have been trying to perfect my hobbies especially right now it is sewing. I have been impressed so far with what I have accomplished with it.

Green River

Green River sand dunes always have fun hanging out with family and getting dirty in the sand.

Brynnie 1yr old

Time has sure gone by fast our little one is 1 and she has changed so much. I wasn't quite ready for her to grow so fast or at least I feel that she has, especially in the personality department. She threw her first tantrum right after her birthday and I was surprised I thought that didn't happen until the age of 2. But I am hearing differently from other parents that it only gets worse from here on out and then mellows out. So I am definitely in for a treat. But I love to watch her grow into herself. She is stubborn but so easy going. She for sure lets you know if she doesn't like something or what is on her mind. She talks so much and is about playing with you whether it is chasing each other or peek a boo. Her favorite word for the time is uh-oh  but she baby signs so much and tries her best to repeat whatever word you say. She started walking at 13 mo. and is all over the place. Most mornings you go in her room to get her out of bed and she will say "hi" in her little high pitch voice. It is something that I love to hear every morning.  She loves being outside and would stay out there all day if she could. She loves to explore and tries to figure things out like putting stuff in boxes. I have been grateful to be home with her everyday and to enjoy being her mom, even when I am learning myself along the way.  Here are pics from her birthday and also that we did for fun.

5 months

Brynnie is now 5 months, and weighs 10 1/2 lbs. She can't quite roll from her back to her belly but she is getting close; she loves her daddy, every morning once she sees him she gets all big in smiles. She also loves to express how she feels, when she is happy she will kick her little feet frantically and will give you the biggest grin on her face. If she wants something she makes the cutest noise while kicking her feet. She loves to watch baby signing time videos. If she is fussy and I have to do something I can put her down and once I turn that on she will stop crying. I have sometimes have had to change from a Disney movie to baby signing time for her to stop crying.
Brynnie is also a great sleeper and napper I feel so lucky. She will eat, play for an hour and once I put her in her swing she will sleep for an hour, she has also been great at night that I don't have to do much for self soothing. She is really the greatest joy in my life.
